Life at Christ Church
People Worshipping

We are a community of people who love Jesus, love each other, and love Felixstowe. We believe that God loves us, and shows his love to us most clearly in Jesus.

Because we believe these things, our vision is to know Christ more, and to make him known, and this means that we try to ensure that everything we do has a focus on God and a focus on our wider community.

Our regular meetings on Sunday revolve around worshipping God together, and trying to listen to him through teaching from the Bible and in prayer. These gatherings are also designed to be welcoming to everyone, and we offer a warm welcome and good hospitality at each of our gatherings.

We run regular Alpha courses so that people can find out more about Jesus, and how much he loves you.

We have small groups that meet regularly in people's homes and elsewhere, where we can get to know each other better, and support each other in prayer, conversation, and in practical ways.

We'd love to welcome you to the church community. Why not join us?

Planning your Visit

We're so glad to see you!

Happy people worshipping in the church

We meet together every Sunday morning at 10:30am, and we'd love to welcome you.

What should I expect?
A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, great music, and cake! Our services include singing, praying, words from the Bible, and teaching about how to follow Jesus. There's normally a chance to be prayed for during or after the services, too, if there's something specific you're concerned about. Don't worry, though - we won't ask you to do or say anything you don't want to, and there's no pressure on anyone.
Our services are live-streamed on YouTube, and you can view previous ones here, to give you a better idea of what goes on.

What about my children?
Children are welcome here. Most weeks there are groups and activities for ages 0 - 17, or they can stay in the main worship area if they'd prefer. There's more information here!

Is the building accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair access, disabled toilets, and a hearing loop. It's a modern and comfortable space, and you can sit at the back if you want - especially if you're new and not sure how things go.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in - there's no dress code.
