What we Believe

God: The one true God who lives eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Kingship: The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world

The Bible: The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God – fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.

Humanity: The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.

Jesus Christ: The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ – born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

Salvation: The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.

Resurrection: The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

Forgiveness: The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

Holy Spirit: The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

The Church: The church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers — given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love

Return Of Christ: The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

IMG 8956

You were made to enjoy a wonderful relationship with God, and find your identity in Him.
All of life's big questions can be answered and found in Jesus.

A great place to start finding out more about Jesus, is to come and join us for a Sunday Service.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details below) for our Sunday Service starting at 10.30am.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10.30am with a warm welcome from one of our team members, then a short time to share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our band. Followed by a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. On our second and forth Sunday of the month we have Holy Communion.
There is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.
We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service finishes. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

What about my kids? - Don't worry, we have CCFX Ignite Kids

In term time we have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages, then during the summer holidays we have a group craft session, for any child who doesn't want to stay in the service, they won't be leaving the building, but on your first visit do go with them to book them into Kids Church.

Getting Connected

 Home Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

 Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.
