Job Title & Description: Team Vicar in the Orwell Team Ministry, with specific responsibility for Christ Church Christ Church Felixstowe is a relatively young church birthed out of a fresh expression of faith in this area 20 years ago and was originally known as Cavendish Community Church. We are an urban parish situated at the gateway to nations - Felixstowe is the largest container port in the UK but still maintains its status as a lovely welcoming seaside resort on the east coast and is just over an hour from London. Our church is part of a three Church Benefice along with St Mary’s, Walton and St Martin and St Mary, Trimley known together as the Orwell Team Benefice and 12 miles from the Suffolk County town of Ipswich Our worship is contemporary in style, we cherish the word of God and lifestyle teaching, love all generations and need someone willing to be part of this family church, who will encourage people into all aspects of ministry that they may fulfil their purpose in Him. We have come to a new chapter in our story and are looking for someone called by the Lord to bring inspiring and enabling Spirit filled leadership with a real heart and vision for outreach. We love our community and whilst we are doing things that touch our local area, we are aware there is much more that we could be doing and are ready to move forward. Still interested?
